Hard Knocks is going down live tonight with another stacked card. In the main event Jesse Arnett defends his Bantamweight Title against Darrick Minner, also on the card Hard Knocks staple Rodney Wallace defends the Light Heavyweight Title against Dan Spohn and Sergej Juskevic defends the Welterweight belt against Cody Wilson.

Round 1: No glove touch and we’re underway with the main event. High kick from Minner and a body kick. Arnett catches a kick and drags him to the mat to north/south. Minner to his feet and a scramble ensues. They separate and Arnett with a low leg kick. Minner with three wild shots that miss the mark. Minner slips and Arnett into half guard and lands some solid elbows. Minner gets his guard and Arnett connects with a couple elbows. Arnett rolls him over, lands a big hammerfist and works from the back. Minner rolls and looks for an armbar but Arnett easily pulls free. Arnett back to full guard and postures up landing elbows. Round 2: Minner head kick blocked and get slips to the mat. Arnett follows him doena nd Minner looking for a kneebar but Arnett defends and escapes. Arnett to north/south, spins to the back and lands shots. Minner rolls through and gets his half guard back. Arnett working for brabo choke but Minner defends. Arnett continues to work hard to sink the choke and is able to force the tap.

Rodney Wallace vs. Dan Spohn
***Light-Heavyweight Title Fight
Round 1: Spohn aggressive and lands a shot immediately. Wallace gets the single to full guard but Spohn latches on to an armbar. Spohn releases the armbar and Wallace works the body. Spohn lands an elbow from the bottom and Wallace chips away with punches and short elbows. Spohn throwing up a high guard but Wallace is able to get a little posture to land some shots. Wallace doing just enough to not be stood up landing little punches. Spohn lands a couple elbows from the bottom and is able to roll out and almost secures a leg but time runs out. Round 2: Spohn with a kick to the body partially blocked by Wallace and a head kick blocked as well. Spohn falls short with a front kick and neither man eager to make the first move. Wallace gets the single and lands in full guard and begins to chip away. Not much action on the ground but referee Andy Social content with the activity of Wallace. Spohn landing occasional shots from the bottom and lazily throwing his legs up for an armbar. Spohn briefly works for a kimura but lets it go. Round 3: Spohn with a right but doesn’t follow up. Spohn with a leg kick and Spohn connects with a solid right but not putting multiple shots together. Wallace with a leg kick and Spohn with one of his own. Wallace with another leg kick and again Spohn responds. Wallace with a leg kick and Spohn with a right. Wallace looking for another single but Spohn defends well and stays on his feet against the cage. Wallace still trying to drag him down and lands a knee to the mid-section before they break away from the cage. Both men throwing and Spohn is the one to connect on the end. Wallace with a right and a leg kick. Wallace with a couple more leg kicks and again looking for a takedown. Round 4: Neither man the aggressor to start the championship rounds and Wallace finally with a leg kick. Spohn with a nice combo and avoids a takedown. Spohn with an inside leg kick and falls just short with a front kick. Another nice 1-2 connects from Spohn. Wallace closes the distance and presses him against the cage. Wallace is able to work for the takedown and gets to full guard. Wallace goes body, head, body and Spohn tries to land from the bottom. Wallace continues to chip away from top position. Round 5: Wallace with a pair of leg kicks and a failed takedown attempt. Spohn chases him down with a barrage of punches but nothing with any significant power. Spohn with a leg kick and another one. Wallace with a lg kick of his own and connects with a right left on the chin but can’t follow up. Wallace with another leg kick and looks content to stay just busy enough. Spohn with a nice kick to the body but Wallace catches it and takes him to the mat to full guard. Spohn tries to work up against the cage and Wallace backs away and lets him up. Spohn with a leg kick and Spohn has to know he needs a finish but can’t seem. Lands a head kick and follows him with a strong combo of punches but puts his hands down and doesn’t keep up the attack and Wallace is able to drag him to the mat and survives the round. Sergej Juskevic vs. Cody Wilson
***Welterweight Title Fight
Round 1: Juskevic opens the offence with a quick right and misses a spinning back fist. Wilson connects and Juskevic responds and Wilson with a kick to the body. Juskevic closes the distance with a shot and they separate. Spinning back kick misses from Juskevic and falls just short with an overhand right. Juskevic shoots for a single but Wilson ends up on top after a scramble. Juskevic has a hold of a leg now but Wilson is able to pull it free and get to safety. Wilson working from the top and lands a couple of elbows. Juskevic again looking for a leg but Wilson stays on top in side control. Wilson landing short elbows and opens a cut on the right side of Juskevic head. Wilson postures from the guard and landing shots. Round 2: Wilson opens with a leg kick and another. Wilson with a nice combo and keeps pressing forward. Both men trade shots and Wilson landing solid leg kicks. Juskevic connects with a solid shot but Wilson responds with a couple of his own. Wilson with a hard knee and Juskevic with an overhand right that falls short. Juskevic lands to the body and Wilson connects. Juskevic doves for a leg and gets the takedown but Wilson rolls through and takes top position where he lands a solid elbow. Juskevic sweeps and gets to full guard before dropping for a heel hook. Wilson is working to escape and is able to pull free and takes top position. Wilson to full mount before working to a triangle. Wilson is able to switch to an armbar and forces the tap for a dominant win.

Lee Mein vs. Lloyd Marshbanks
Round 1: Marshbanks shoots for the low single and gets Mein to the mat to full guard. Marshbanks works the body and Mein looks for a sweep but Marshbanks stays heavy on him. Mein working for a Kimura from the bottom but Marshbanks hops over to half guard. Marshbanks locks in a guillotine and Mein tries to hammer his way out. Mein is able to releive the pressure and get to side control and pull his head free. Mein locks on headlock and and is able to force the tap with the neck crank. The oldest fighter on the card, Lee Mein gets the win right after the youngest fighter on the card, TJ Larmie picks up his own victory.

TJ Laramie vs. Yvon Agenord
Round 1: Laramie immediatley paws at him looking for his range. Laramie lands a vicious right on the chin and follows up with a 1-2 as Agenord is sent crashing to the mat. Agenord is out cold and and referee Adam Cheadle quickly steps in to rescue the downed fighter from any further punishment. Another impressive flawless victory for the young prospect.

John Nguyen vs. Mitchell Carlson
Round 1: Nguyen sticks a jab and connects with some stiff shots. Carlson presses him against the cage and looks to drag him to the mat. Nguyen pops back to his feet and they separate. Carlson is bleeding from the nose and Nguyen connects again. Nguyen continues to connect against the cage with solid shots. Nguyen lands more punches against the cage and Carlson lands a couple of his own. Nguyen with an uppercut and a hard right. The ten second warning sounds and Nguyen drops him with a left hook to the liver and referee Andy Social steps in to stop the fight.

Mike Parsons vs. Duncan Henry
Round 1: Parsons starts with a leg kick and another. They’re feeling each other out and Henry with a leg kick. Parsons with a single to side control and looks to pin the arm. Parsons works for a guillotine but Henry gets out of trouble to side control. Parsons on top in side control and looks for an armbar but Henry escapes back to his guard. Round 2: Henry with a leg kick falls short and both men being cautious. Henry throws a combo but Parsons gets the body lock against the cage. Henry spins off but Parsons picks him up and slams him to the mat to side control. Parsons passes to full mount and begins to work for a guillotine but Henry pulls his head free. Parsons remains on top in half guard. Parsons locks in the arm triangle and works to free his leg. Parsons hops over but doesn’t have enough time to finish and time expires. Round 3: Parson leg kick and Henry with a 1-2. Henry with a leg kick of his own and another. Parsons with a spinning back elbow but Henry immediately latches on and they go to the mat with Henry in side control. Parsons sweeps to north/south and works for the brabo choke. Henry gives the thumbs up to indicate he’s okay and Parsons continues to work for the choke for the final ten seconds of the round. However when Parsons releases the choke at the end of the round, Henry appears to be unconscious but because time has expired the fight will go to the scorecards. Abbas Faleh vs. Cameron MacDonald
Round 1: Big leg kick by Faleh to open he action. MacDonald ducks a combo and a HARD leg kick lands from Faleh. They tie up against the cage and Faleh gets the big slam to the mat in side control. Faleh lands knees to the body and looks to mount. Faleh stands and pummels him with some huge shots but MacDonald weathers the storm and gets back to his feet. Faleh lands a kick to the body and another vicious leg kick. MacDonald connects with a right and Faleh with another leg kick and combo against the cage. They trade shots and jockey for position against the cage. The separate and Gossen with another leg kick. Schellenberg lands a combo and Gossen with more leg kicks. They clash with leg kicks and Schellenberg gets the takedown to guard but Gossen with the nice sweep to gain top position. Gossen postures up and stands but time runs out.
